Free Knitting Pattern!
This is the keep all you New Yorkers without power stuck in your homes busy with a knitting project :)
You will need a pair of size 13 (9mm) knitting needles and 2 skeins of yarn. Here is a link to the lion brand website if you have any other questions. Happy knitting!
12 sts = 4 in. (10 cm) in k2, p2 Rib, slightly stretched.
BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
K2, p2 Rib
Row 1: *K2, p2; rep from * across.
Row 2: K the knit sts and p the purl sts.
Rep Rows 1 and 2 for k2, p2 Rib.
When changing colors, carry unused color along side of work.
With A, cast on 28 sts.
Rows 1 and 2: With A, work in k2, p2 Rib.
Rows 3 and 4: With B, work in k2, p2 Rib.
Rep Rows 1-4 until piece measures about 64 in. (162.5 cm) from beginning. Bind off.
Weave in ends.
